The Prognostic Impact of In-Hospital Major Bleeding and Recurrence of Myocardial Infarction during Acute Phase after Percutaneous Coronary Intervention for Acute Myocardial Infarction

چکیده
Aim: Both recurrent myocardial infarction (ReMI) and bleeding events after acute (AMI) were reportedly associated with increased mortality. To date, the prognostic impact of these on subsequent outcomes in East Asians is still unclear. In this study, we aimed to investigate or thrombotic during phase mortality time-dependent change patients AMI undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).

Incidence and prognostic impact of gastrointestinal bleeding after percutaneous coronary intervention for acute myocardial infarction.
We examined the incidence, presentation, and outcome of patients who developed gastrointestinal bleeding after percutaneous coronary intervention for acute myocardial infarction in the Primary Angioplasty in Myocardial Infarction trials. Of the 3,130 patients, 71 (2.3%) developed gastrointestinal bleeding, which was more likely to occur in elderly patients. Gastrointestinal bleeding was indepen...
متن کاملEvaluation of ejection fraction in patients with acute myocardial infarction undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention
Introduction: Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) is a reperfusion strategy to increase life expectancy and ejection fraction (EF) in ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) patients. We investigated the effect of location, severity, type of lesion, number and type of vessel involved and time of angioplasty on the increase in EF in STEMI patients undergoing primary PCI (P-PCI) a...
متن کاملImpact of In-Hospital Major Bleeding on Late Clinical Outcomes After Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention in Acute Myocardial Infarction
Methods Primary PCI was performed in 3,345 (92.9%) of 3,602 patients in the HORIZONS-AMI (Harmonizing Outcomes With Revascularization and Stents in Acute Myocardial Infarction) trial; in-hospital protocol-defined non–coronary artery bypass graft–related major bleeding developed in 231 (6.9%). We examined medication use at discharge, mortality, and major adverse cardiovascular events (composite ...
متن کاملPercutaneous coronary intervention in acute myocardial infarction.
857 R of the infarct-related artery (IRA) by percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) limits the size of the infarct and preserves left ventricular (LV) function. In the 1980s, various randomized trials using thrombolytics that enrolled thousands of patients with acute myocardial infarction with ST-elevation (STEMI) demonstrated the clear superiority of these agents over placebo in terms of maj...
متن کاملOpium dependency and in-hospital outcome of acute myocardial infarction
Background :Impact of substance abuse on outcome of hospitalized patients with acute myocardial infarction (MI) is a frequent question. Available studies show disagreements over its impact, thus we performed this study to find a clear answer. Methods : In a cross sectional study, 304 patients (include 152 consecutive opium dependents and equal number of independents) with acute MI admitted ...
